The beginners course includes an insight into the latest trends in men's hairdressing and how these can be adapted to suit different hair textures and customers. It is a practical course that will build confidence and help you to be able to master all features of men's barbering.

- Introduction of professional salon tools and their uses
- Analysis and consultation of client
- Variety of clipper techniques
- Free hand cutting techniques
- Blending and texturising of the hair
- Practice on live models throughout the course
The advanced barbering course is perfect for hairdressers who have a background in women’s hairdressing, and would like to enhance their range of abilities to cut men’s hair. The advanced course is tailored around you. Your tutor will assess your skill level and adapt the course accordingly.
Students are required to bring in a camera to take photos during this course as part of their portfolio of evidence for assessment purposes.
